Help us support the Children's Youth Foundation for the third time

Healthy lungs are not a given for everyone. More than 100,000 children in Denmark suffer from lung disease. That is why we at Jakobsens have chosen for the third year in a row to support the Children's Lung Foundation in cooperation with REMA1000 - where we stand together to increase the quality of life for children with lung disease and their families.  

Once again, you can help support by buying a honey at your local REMA1000. Together, we will donate DKK 2 per beaker sold to the Children's Lung Foundation, which fights for better prevention of lung diseases in children and young people. 

Help us support those who really need it 

REMA1000 and Jakobsens encourage all school students to support the Children's Lung Foundation by participating in the Team Rynkeby School Run, where students from all over Denmark run in aid of children affected by lung diseases.

Prevention of lung diseases in children

The diagnoses of lung diseases are diverse. Many lung diseases are difficult to treat, and children with lung disease and their families live with great unpredictability, uncertainty and isolation in their daily lives. That's why we think it's important to support the Children's Lung Foundation, which is doing research to prevent these lung diseases.

• Every 5th pre-school child and every 10th school child has asthma?
• Denmark has the highest frequency of hospital admissions for childhood asthma in the Nordic countries?
• Childhood and adult asthma has tripled in the past 30 years?
