Help us "run" an extra mile for the Children's Youth Foundation

Jakobsens and REMA 1000 join forces to improve the quality of life for children with lung disease and their families. Together we support the Children's Lung Foundation with DKK 2 per cup of Everyday Honey sold.

Children run for children - and Jakobsens runs with them

On 12 April, the largest Nordic charity run (Team Rynkeby School Run) will be held in aid of children with lung diseases. All schoolchildren in the country can run and actively help to make a difference for children with serious illnesses.

This is the cause we support when we say: we run with and support with 2 DKK for every jar of Everyday Honey that is bought in REMA 1000.

Prevention of lung diseases in children

More than 100,000 Danish children suffer from a lung disease. Many lung diseases are difficult to treat, and children with lung disease and their families live with great unpredictability, uncertainty and isolation in their daily lives.

The Children's Lung Foundation wants to prevent and control lung diseases, and research funding is needed to do this.

• Denmark has the highest frequency of hospital admissions for childhood asthma in the Nordic countries?
• Childhood and adult asthma has tripled in the past 30 years?
