Pickled red onions with lime and honey

Ingredients

Preparation

1. Cut the red onions into thin slices and place them in a pickle jar

2. Cut the lime peel into thin slices and put them in the glass.

3. Sprinkle with chilli flakes

4. Heat the honey, vinegar, water and salt in a small saucepan and pour over the

5. Leave the red onions to soak in the brine for at least 1 hour in the fridge, preferably longer.

6. Serve as an accompaniment to burgers, sandwiches and salads.
