  • 100 g butter
  • 2 dl. milk
  • 3 dl. lukewarm water
  • 50 g yeast
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • ½ dl. Jakobsens Liquid Danish Honey
  • 1 ½ dl. coarse rolled oatmeal
  • Approx. 800 g wheat flour
  • 2 large carrots
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp. chia seeds

1. Melt the butter and add the milk.

2. Immediately remove the pan from the heat and pour into a bowl.

3. Dissolve the yeast in the liquid.

4. Add salt, egg, honey and oatmeal and mix well.

5. Add the wheat flour and mix well in a mixer or with a spoon. The dough should be slightly moist and does not need to be kneaded with your hands.

6. Let the dough rise covered for about 45 minutes.

7. Grate the carrots coarsely.

8. Place the dough on a floured board and press it out slightly.

9. Place the grated carrot, egg and chia seeds in the middle of the dough and fold the dough over.

10. Now "cut" the dough into pieces, turn them around and cut again until the carrot, egg and chia seeds are distributed.

11. Place small lumps of dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

12. Leave to rise for about 20 minutes and bake in the oven at 185°C for about 20 minutes.
