Pickled herring with honey, coriander seeds and dill

Ingredients

  • 4 large herring fillets
  • 1 tsp. coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp. dried dill
  • ½ bdt. freshly chopped dill
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 peppercorns
  • 2 dl white wine vinegar
  • 1,5 dl Jakobsens liquid Danish Honey
  • 1 dl water

Preparation

1. Boil water, vinegar and honey.

2. Add all the other ingredients to the stock and pour over the herbs in a scalded glass.

3. Leave to infuse for at least 1 week before serving.
