Granola bars with honey and oats

Ingredients

  • 100 g almonds
  • 250 g Jakobsens Coarse Rolled Oatmeal
  • 150 g Jakobsens Liquid Danish Honey
  • 75 g butter
  • 50 g chopped dates
  • 50 g chopped dark chocolate

Preparation

1. Coarsely chop the almonds and mix them with the oatmeal, then toast the mixture in a dry frying pan over medium heat for 4-5 minutes.

2. Melt the butter and mix it with the honey, toasted oats and almonds.

3. Coarsely chop the dates and stir them into the mixture with half of the chocolate.

4. Spread the mixture in a small baking pan lined with baking paper and press it well together.

5. It is important to press the mixture well, otherwise the granola bars will be very loose and can easily crumble when cut out.

6. Sprinkle with the remaining chocolate and press into the surface.

7. Put the pan in the fridge for about 2 hours and then cut the granola bars into 12-15 pieces.

8. Store in the fridge or freezer.
