Ingredients

  • Christmas waffles:
  • 80 g butter
  • 250 g wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 35 g cane sugar
  • 0.5 tsp. baking powder
  • 475 g whole milk
  • 15 g Jakobsens Liquid Danish Honey
  • Butter for frying
  • Serving suggestions:
  • Jakobsens Liquid Danish Honey
  • Formula ice
  • Pomegranate seeds

Preparation

1. Melt the butter in a pan and set aside.

2. Sift the wheat flour, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, cane sugar and baking powder into a bowl.

3. Add whole milk, liquid Danish honey and the melted butter and beat until the dough is uniform and without lumps.

4. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.

5. Bake the waffles in butter in a hot waffle iron until golden and cooked through.
