Cinnamon rolls in a waffle iron

Ingredients

Preparation

How to make the dough:

1. Heat milk and butter in a saucepan (do not boil)

2. Add the cinnamon topping to the mixture and stir together.

3. Place it in a mixer with the yeast, salt, cardamom and flour and mix well.

4. Let the dough rise for an hour.

How to make the filling:

1. make the filling by adding the softened butter, brown sugar and cinnamon topping to a bowl and stirring together.

2. Now take the risen dough out onto a floured surface and roll it as thin as possible without breaking.

3. Spread the filling all over the dough.

4. Roll it into a sausage and cut slices about 5 cm wide.

5. Let the cinnamon rolls rise, covered, for 15 minutes.

6. Turn on the waffle iron and let it heat up well.

7. Bake the waffles for 2-3 minutes - or until golden.

Finish with icing:

1. Make your icing by mixing water, icing sugar and cinnamon topping.

2. Top the snails with the glaze and serve!
