Tapas time is snack time

As an accompaniment to the tapas, it is obvious with some delicious, crusty bread.

For example, serve a delicious and crispy puff pastry with liquid Danish honey, walnuts and gorgonzola to your tapas table. Perfect as the crunchy element on the table and as an accompaniment to the other tapas dishes. Or get inspired by other tasty tapas dishes below.

What is tapas?

Did you know that tapas originally means lid in Spanish? It is believed that the word's use in connection with food originated in Andalusia. Here, thin bread or ham was used as a lid on glasses to keep insects out of the sherry.

Small dishes - big taste

Tapas time offers a variety of small dishes, all with lots of flavour. It's a good idea to vary the dishes so that different flavours and ingredients are represented.

Add something fresh to your tapas table, as a wonderful and tasteful contrast to the other dishes. For example, try the incredibly simple recipe for these fresh figs with liquid Danish honey, which adds a lovely sweetness.
