Ingredients

  • 2 sheets of filo pastry
  • A little melted butter
  • 40 g cheese of your choice (e.g. castello)
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • A little olive oil
  • Some egg yolks
  • 1 tbsp. sour cream 18%
  • 1 tbsp. Jakobsens Acacia Honey

Preparation

1. Cut out four equal squares of filo pastry. Brush the two pieces of dough with a little butter and place a dough plate over them.

2. Divide the cheese in two and place one piece on each pastry plate. Place a sprig of thyme and rosemary on the cheese - drizzle with olive oil and honey. Roll it up and shape it together.

3. Brush with egg yolk and season with thyme. Bake in the middle of the oven.

Serve the cheese packet on a patterned base of sour cream and honey.

TIP:
Filo dough is super-thin Greek dough sheets that can be bought in larger supermarkets and delicatessens.

If you can't find filo dough, you can also use rice flour dough sheets, which are a kind of spring roll dough that can be bought in most Asian specialty stores.
